i maybe the only one with this opinion here.. but i dont really like the new casting.. i mean, why remove the original characters? they're the ones who have gathered a million of fans from all around the world.. JJH and YEH were a totally cute couple for the fact that they contrast each other and thats what made them attract fans.. second, im a bit biased here cause i'm not a se7en fan at all..

and as you may have noticed.. it's new title is Prince Hours.. the story now focuses on the prince wherein the first one focused on the Princess.. Chae Gyeong..

i almost cried of disappointment.. as i've said it was like losing my appetite over my favorite food.. sigh.. but i have yet to watch this..

Though he's in poverty (poor), he lives every day freely...but one day, something happens and it's the start of his life as a royal.

Yang Soon-Ae (Huh Lee-Jae): Everyone in the neighborhood knows Soon-Ae as an impracticable girl. She thinks preciously of her fraternal twin. But one day, she finds out that Lee Hoo is the boy that she grew up with as a child, and they start their life's together in the palace.

Kang Doo (Lee Joon): To become a prince, he recieved training as a mastery elite. He's a great candidate. Lee Hoo's appearance makes Lee Joon get farther away from becoming a prince. He's a perfectionist.

Park Shin-Hye (Shin Sae-Ryung): Honor and power, Sae-Ryung grew up in a wealthy family. She has never lost first place/spot at school (meaning she's very smart)...she has skills and the looks of becoming prince's wife. She always had the ambition of becoming a royal princess. However, the prince that she has always imagined of is completely different when she see's Lee Hoo's sudden appearance. A change comes to her way.

Pinoy Meets World: Korea

There is a new show entitled Pinoy Meets World in GMA7 every Sundays at 7pm. Today was the pilot episode and the show featured.. of course everybody knows why I'm posting about this show.. KOREA!!

The first time I've seen the trailer for this show, I had problems and seeing the trailer added more pressure for me and it made me cry.. T T i swear.. I really envied the two hosts when I saw them at the airport and their passports were marked with Korean stamps.. anyways I've recorded the whole show although some were unbearable cause of the quality (i just used my n6630) and the comments or should I say unnecessary commentary because of my uncontrolled emotions.. sorry.. but if my apologizes are not enough.. here are the youtube links

I was recently digging photos in flickr. I typed the word Korean in the search box and I couldn't resist the striking color of a Korean crowd: red.

The 2006 FIFA World Cup will be held in Germany and Korea is in. I felt so envious of the Koreans. They're very supportive. Koreans all over the world were united because the World Cup. In different parts of the world, they held gatherings, wore red shirts and shouted 대한민국 (Dae Han Min Guk) which means Republic of Korea.

And you can't say that only football fanatics came to cheer for their team. Almost every normal Korean citizen participated in the great cheerings. From moms, to dads, to students and even little kids! There were even foreigners and Filipinos! I even see pictures of little kids at school wearing red. They were so organized that you could see a big red spot on earth if you were on an airplane. Or sometimes, they even make a god-size human slogan. The famous KPop group, DBSK / TVXQ or Dong Ban Shin Ki has an album with soccer themed tracks for the Korean team. I was so amazed. The kind of nationality that Korea is showing is so intense. And so I wished I was part of them.

We all know that Korea is not a world favorite. But for me, the kind of support they are giving feels as if they make the Korean team closer and closer to winning. And most of all, Korea is Asian.

Korean Dramas vs Traditional Pinoy Telenovelas

There are many reasons why I loved Korean dramas a lot more than the local dramas. Not just because its not local.

1. Kdramas have no "no-mercy" antagonists

Traditional Philippine telenovals usually have a no-mercy antagonist who kills his/her enemies and/or uses hired people to do so and accompanies the act with an evil laugh. Which makes you really hate the antagonist and really show pity on the victim. Correct?

2. Most Kdramas have no lust

Most Korean dramas have no excessive kissing scenes and no malicious scenes too, unlike most Philippine telenovelas.

3. Most Kdramas' episodes are planned and set

Most Korean dramas have a total of 16 episodes, 1 hour each. They don't add more off-script scenes to satisfy the viewers' cravings. All are planned and set. Which makes the dramas straight to the point and not boring. Philippine television networks cut the Kdrama episodes into smaller bits to suit the traditional 30 minute per show and also adds commercials in between which makes one 1hr episode cut into about 3-4 days. And that's also the reason why airing time here in the Philippines takes longer. And compare Philippine shows like Encantadia with My Name is Kim Sam Soon. Encantadia took about a year to finish airing while Kim Sam Soon only took months.

4. Most Kdramas focus on comedy and romance at the same time targetting the youth.

Traditional Philippine dramas have violence and some adult scenes. And mostly the drama is sad. Which makes it really a drama. Korean dramas are more of a comedy/romance flick (ie, Kim Sam Soon, Full House, etc)

> Exceptions and Changes

Philippine television now airs Telefantasyas and gone are the traditional Pinoy dramas as stated above. Usually, the traditional Pinoy dramas are aired in the afternoon, targetting house wives and maids while the younger people are at school or at work. Telefantasyas (Encantadia, Majika, Capt. Barbell, etc) are aired in the evening to target the younger viewers.

There is also a new show called "I Love New York" (starring Mark Herras, Jennylyn Mercado, Marvin Agustin and Jolina Magdangal) and is aired every weeknights on GMA7. I Love New York defies the boundaries of traditional Pinoy dramas and now tries to adopt the Korean drama plot. Comedy and Romance are embedded in the drama and targets the teenagers. No violence, no explicit scenes.

As you all know I'm just a kid and I'm still studying, today was our first day of school and while at it, I kept thinking of this blog, I swear I couldn't get it off my mind.. Jun Matsumoto (松本潤) is a Japanese actor and musician. Along with Masaki Aiba (相葉雅紀), Kazunari Ninomiya (二宮和也), Satoshi Ohno (大野智), and Sho Sakurai (櫻井翔), Matsumoto is a member of the J-pop group Arashi (嵐) which belongs to Johnny & Associates.

Jun Matsumoto was born on August 30, 1983 in Tokyo.

He has one elder sister who is two years older. People usually call him MatsuJun (松潤 or マツジュン).

Jun Matsumoto starred as the leader of F4, Domyouji Tsukasa in the Japanese Live Action version of Hana Yori Dango (also known as Meteor Garden for the ones who watched the Taiwanese version), which aired from 2005-10-21 to 2005-12-16.

Jun Matsumoto is currently co-hosting Utawara HotHit10 with Aya Matsuura and Wada Akiko.

Forgive me if I will not be visiting here for only 4 days cause I have to go somewhere and experience more Asian stuff especially Korean. Magpakailanman: March 25, 2006

The story starts with memories of Marky Cielo back in the Starstruck days from auditions to his victory in the Final Judgement.

Young Marky Cielo asks Lola about his race, the Igorots. And Lola tells him and his younger sister Andrea to always be proud of their race. Marky tells his Lola a story about an igorot at school who is bullied and Marky says that there is nothing wrong with being an igorot. They talk about the Banaue Rice terraces, the 8th wonder of the world made by the Igorots barehanded.

Marky is fond of drawing since they were still kids. He draws an Igorot and his dad teaches him how to draw a person correctly. Since they were still kids, Marky and Andrea has no idea that their family could be broken. Marky's dad takes a look at his kids, tells them that he loves them, kisses them on the forehead and leaves the room crying.

Marky, his mom (Tita Mildred) and Andrea leaves home. Marky asks where his father is and his mom tells him that his father went ahead first. They leave their home and move to a new home. Marky and Andrea asks about their father. They were almost crushed by the fact that their father left them. Marky's mother keeps crying behind her children. Marky comforts his mother telling her not to cry and that they (he and Andrea) are there for her.

In his young age, Marky witnesses the separation of his parents. He strives to be even stronger for his family.

Marky's mother couldn't always be with her kids while working. Tita Mildred introduces to her kids their new nanny, Ate Len. Tita Mildred gives them chocolates and tells them, "Bago maubos ang mga tsokolateng yan, darating ako." Tita Mildred leaves them and their new nanny changes attitude into wicked mode as expected. They try to play outside but Len forces them to go inside. Len locks the two in the bathroom and their lives became miserable. Tita Mildred has no idea about the true attitude of Len. Tita Mildred even praises Len for her "kind" attitude. Marky's mom then gives them chocolates again. A symbolism of her promise to return and leaves them with Len. Len changes attitude again and gets their chocolates.

Marky is drawing an Igorot again and Len catches him. She scolds him for wasting paper and making a mess and rips Marky's drawing into pieces.

Tita Mildred calls and checks on them. Len warns them not to tell anything about her harshness. Marky asks his mom about his dad and why they separated. Tita Mildred tells them that they aren't for each other. Marky says that they wish that his dad take care of them instead while she is gone. Tita Mildred worries and talks to Len. Len says that everything is fine.

Tita Mildred comes back and gives them clothes. While trying on a dress, Tita Mildred notices a wound on Andrea's head and Len tells her that they tripped and fell. But Tita Mildred notices something different about Len and like Marky and Andrea is hiding something.

Len scolds the two and hits them hard. Tita Mildred saw what Len is doing and tells Len to leave the house at once. Marky tells his mom that if she didn't leave them they wouldn't get hurt. Tita Mildred apologizes. --Vina

Due to their Poorness, Marky's allowance when he goes to school then--P1, and because of that, he only eats to their School Canteen only one times a week. Marky sometimes help his family--by selling Ice Drops on the Sidewalk.

6 years later..

He is now a teenager. They are waiting to their Papa with Andrea. There's a man whom they thought that their Papa, but they are wrong. They are n ow going home when their Papa called them. They group hugged as because they doesn't meet for years.

Inside the house, they are happily eating dinner because they are now completed as a Family. Marky ask his Papa: "Diba 'pa, dito ka matutulog ngayon?" "O, o-o" his Papa replied. Tita Mildred said that there are a extra room in their house that their Papa can sleep to. "Diba 'pa, dito ka na rin titira?" Marky ask again his Papa. "Ahh, titignan natin.." his father answered.

At that very night, his father went outside the House to leave. Marky followed him. His father then said that he will return for them. Marky ask on when. His father then said that he will just return. They hugged and tears falls from their eyes.

Marky was scotch-tapping his Igorot drawing when he was young that Len have ripped. Tita Mildred arrives. Marky ask Tita Mildred if she and their Papa lives together again. Tita Mildred replied that it is hard. But he said that that is hard also for them--as a broken family. But Tita Mildred said that she loved them. And hug again.

But Marky now accepted that they are a Broken Family. He was talking to his dad. Marky said that everytime he was thinking of it, he was getting sad. "Kailangan tignan mo yung biyaya, hindi yung pagsubok" his dad said to him. His dad said he love them. His dad then said that Marky should think of his Future.

Marky thought that his Father is right, to think of his future. His talent is dancing. But he didn't know, his talent will be the one that will bring him to Stardom.

In his school, his friends ask him if he knew StarStruck, and ask him if he wanted to join--to represent their nation, Mt. Province.

Marky thought that they are right. So, he went to the StarStruck audition and Tita Mildred was with him. He told her mother that he was nervous. "Ngayon ang panahon para ipagtanggol mo kung sino ka at saan ka galing" Tita Mildred said to Marky.

Her sister teased her one night and said that Marky should sleep, because maybe on his dreams, he will dream of him being a StarStruck Winner. But her sister then said to him: "Diba sinabi ni Lola, kung Rice Terraces nga naukit natin, StarStruck pa kaya"

(A scene showed where Christian Esteban fetched him in their house)
(Then after that, a scene showed that he was accepted at StarStruck)

Marky was talking to his dad on the phone. "Parang pagdo-drawing 'yan, pinag-aaralan" his dad said to him, referring to stardom. His dad said that winning is not important.

Marky's friends congratulated him just right after the Final Judgment. While Tita Mildred was talking to the phone (to the Mayor of Mt. Province) and said that the Mayor wants to talks to Marky. Tita Mildred gave Marky the phone and congratulated Marky as a Sole Survivor. The mayor said that they are proud of him.

Marky went to his room and saw a gift-from Tita Mildred. Containing lotsa chocolates. He remembered that Tita Mildred gave them lots of it when they are still young. Tita Mildred and Andrea went inside his room and hugged.. --Juliuz

Crisis for Yankumi! The magazine featuring an article about her has come out, and there is an unexpected photo in there! Yankumi's secret is finally revealed, and reactions are mixed. The media is in an uproar about Yankumi, and school officials arrive to take control of the situation. Yankumi is asked to resign, but she refuses. Her students take the news of her background very well, but are angry about what the media is saying about her. In an effort to defend her, the class faces the press, but ends up getting into a fistfight with them. This makes things worse. Now the school has an excuse to expell all of class 3-D so that they won't graduate. However, if Yankumi resigns, the class will not be expelled. This forces Yankumi's hand, and to protect her students, she resigns!

Gokusen Episode 11

Yankumi is once again called about her students being involved with the police. However instead of being suspects, this time they are actually the heroes! While buying crepes after school, Kuma got into a fight with a stranger on the street who turned out to be a wanted criminal. For capturing him, the gang have become heroes! They even give a press conference, and Yankumi makes the most of the event, squeezing out as much attention for herself (even though she wasn't even a part of capturing the criminal). All the press exposure draws the attention of a weekly magazine reporter who wants to do an article about YanKumi. He brings along a photographer and ovserves Yankumi at school with her students. Of course Yankumi acts all out of character in front of the reporters, pretending to be be a demure, lovely teacher. (hah!) Meanwhile Kuma's father is extremely proud of his son's role in capturing the criminal. He feeds the school staff with food from his ramen shop, and shows everyone who passes by the shop the newspaper article with photos of his son from the press conference. Kuma is embarrassed and angry about all this attention his father is giving him, and lashes out angrily. He soon comes to regret his hateful words when his father suddenly passes away. Yankumi and his friends try to comfort Kuma, but he is very traumatized. He starts skipping school, and is soon looking for trouble to distract himself from his pain. Yankumi tries to help Kuma, but in the process she unwittingly sets herself up for her own downfall thanks to some very curious reporters.

Gokusen Episode 10

There is a theme of romance running through this episode. As usual, Yankumi is drooling over the handsome detective Shinohara. Of course he is just nice and friendly to her, but shows no obvious signs of romantic interest. Well actually, he does give her a present: a cactus. Yankumi drools over the cactus and places great importance on it. (a sign he likes her!) Meanwhile the class 3-D guys are trying to get some dates of their own as they drag Shin to a 'Goukon' (group date) with some girls from a local girls school. The 3-D guys dress very preppy and try to hide the fact that they go to Shirokin, but the secret is soon revealed, and they are dumped by the girls. Yankumi is also sad because, after enjoying a private meal with Shinohara, she sees him meeting another girl, and believes he has a girlfriend. Also, Yankumi's Yakuza friend Tetsu obviously has a crush on Kumiko, and may be on the verge of giving up on ever getting her. So now everyone is lovelorn. But help for Yankumi arrives when the vice principal's wife arrives and offers her a man to meet for an omiai. An omiai is a meeting you have with a prospective partner in an arranged marriage. Yankumi sees the omiai as a challenge, so she gets all dressed up and meets the guy. He turns out to be a teacher from a snobby boys school (sort of the opposite from Shirokin) and he likes Kumiko enough to want to continue seeing her. Unfortunately at their next meeting, he expresses his views about Shirokin students, and Yankumi's career that Yankumi doesn't appreciate. Elsewhere, the 3-D guys get into trouble again when they run into a kid fleeing from a video store he just shoplifted from. The 3-D guys get blamed for the theft, and it's up to YanKumi to believe in them and prevent them from getting expelled!

Gokusen Episode 9

Yankumi is surprised and excited to learn that Shirokin Gakuen will be hosting a volleyball tournament! However, class 3-D will not be actually playing in the tournament. In order to get her class involved, Yankumi wants them to form an "ouendan", or organized cheerleading group. The group would perform very loud cheers and chants accompanied by a drum. Of course class 3-D is not all that thrilled about the Ouendan idea, and it takes a bit of bribery in the form of promises of meeting some female cheerleaders to get her class to start practicing. Meanwhile an old friend of Shin and Uchiyama's is making trouble. His name is Kurosaki, and he is a former Shirokin student who stopped attending school and is currently leading a gang. Kurosaki has a lot of bitter issues about Shirokin's volleyball tournament, and has a personal grudge against one of the Shirokin teachers. He is threatening to ruin the volleyball tournament, and vandalizes the large banner hanging in front of the school. It takes a bit of knocking around from Yankumi to set him straight!

Gokusen Episode 8

Thanks to some ghost stories told by Shin, Yankumi feels spooked while walking the empty halls of Shirokin. However the noise that scares her isn't a ghost, it's a young boy, and amazingly enough, he belongs to Nakashima-sensei! No one knew she had a son, and in fact, she doesn't. The young boy is her stepson, Yuta. He is her husband's child from his previous marriage. Unfortunately, Nakashima-sensei's husband passed away, and now Yuta lives with his grandparents. However Yuta loves Nakashima-sensei, and considers her to be his 'mama'. Nakashima-sensei still has to come to terms with the idea that she and Yuta can be a family even though she is not his real mother. Yankumi helps out with a bit of babysitting, Yakuza style!

Gokusen Episode 7

It's time for an episode that focuses on Sawada Shin! Poor Yankumi. It's parent-teacher conference time, and meeting the parents of her unruly students is quite exhausting. The class 3-D guys admire this cute girl that has been waiting at the gate of their school, and are shocked to discover that she is Shin's younger sister! When trying to arrange her parent-teacher conferences, Yankumi is not happy to see no one there for Shin's meeting. She discovers that Shin has been living in an apartment all by himself, while his sister lives with his family. Shin and his father do NOT get along at all, and their disagreements prompted Shin to move out. Things get chaotic when Shin's younger sister accompanies some friends to an illegal gambling club, and the police raid the place. Shin, who had raced to the club to get his sister out of it, is apprehended by the police! Yankumi must try to mend the rift between father and son in order to get Shin out of ail. This is NOT an easy task, as Shin's father is a tough, unyielding guy. But Yankumi's tough too!

I've watched the Da Vinci Code

I've already watched the Da Vinci Code thanks to some pirate and his torrent. Honestly I found it boring.. I was already fast forwarding some scenes.. Maybe because I've already read the book and I knew what was coming, and I can agree with some reviewers out there that every book is better than the movie..

Because of the facts that came out, they changed some scenes in the book to suit the "reality" like the one where Silas kills the poor nun. In the book, he used the huge candle holder (that should take 3 people to lift one). In the movie, he just punched her and she was resting in peace (Silas even prayed for her soul but he should even pray for his more).

I still can't believe Dan Brown was too good to cloud things about the Catholic Church with other facts. (e.g. claiming that the burning of witches was a move of the Church to get rid of females who are a threat to the malehood of the Church.. but I found this info at www.religioustolerance.org/wic_burn.htm

Most of the victims were tried and executed by local, community courts, not by the Church)

And one more thing, that book has destroyed Leonardo Da Vinci's name.. Da Vinci was a devout Catholic and had offered his masterpieces to the Church. And then a feminist, best-selling writer comes along and wrote something about him that makes him not Catholic. If only Da Vinci was alive..

The first time I read the book, whenever I go to Church, I feel guilty.. I see Jesus on the big cross behind the priest and I swear I could see Him sad and almost crying and I couldn't look back. But after Holy Week, I've heard lots of sermons from priests in the Church and in TV, I confessed and I felt light. And after I watched the movie, I wasn't affected anymore. I think my faith was even strengthened by it. Thanks to that movie.

The cinema board was right on making this film R18. For in a country with a population that's 80% Catholic, this movie could be a big threat and could shatter the faith of all those whose faith in God arent stable and could easily be shaken.. The management of SM was such a brave one deciding not to show the film. While Robinsons on the other hand, opened 75% of it's cinemas all to "The Da Vinci Code".. They wouldn't even care.. They know its such a controversial and "interesting" film that people would come to them.. SM was really brave.. Risking it's customers to go and watch The Da Vinci Code at Robinsons.. No wonder God has been blessing SM with a good number of customers everytime..

It's ok to watch it for the thrilling effects and storyline.. Just don't let your faith be shattered by it's background.. Dan Brown has claimed that the novel is fiction and that he is not trying to attack the Church. He's making a good face infront of the public.. What about behind the public?

I've passed by this Gnostic gospel in the internet when I was researching on the Da Vinci Code.. You can call me a skeptic when it comes to these things cause I can't let my faith be shattered by these Anti-Christianity people. Good thing the Pope banned this Gnostic gospel. It's definitely not Roman Catholic. I'm just sharing this info with you guys just so you will be guided. If ever you read these Gnostic gospels, bear in mind that God is not in those gospels. SM Mall of Asia Opens Today

The grand opening of the 3rd largest mall in the world is today.

SOP Gigsters took place here just a while ago. I was supposed to be there with Ate Danaya Pauline and Gian's family and then we were supposed to go to Robinsons Pioneer to see Gian and Iwa's mall show.. But we were stuck in Subic and didn't make it T T

Anyways, I wish I could go here in Pasay.. It would be easy cause my tito lives near there.. So we could all go and see the 3rd biggest mall in the world.. hehe.. there will be lots of stores here for sure and we could even get lost.. hehe.. We don't need to go to Hong Kong anymore.. us Pinoys.. hehe.. Just take a bus to Bay City, Pasay.. hehe..

We've been here a lot of times anyways but it wasn't open yet.. we always go here with my extended family.. hehe.. meaning my real family, granparents and uncles and cousins.. etc..

Hey, it's sports tournament time, and class 3-D is in dire straits! They need one more person so that they can play in the basketball game, and amazingly enough, YanKumi discovers that there is another student in class 3-D that she did not know about. Her class roster pages were stuck together, and she never before saw the name listed on the next page. Apparently the boy was a victim of bullying by Kuma and Minami a long time ago, and has refused to return to school ever since. Yankumi decides to convince him to return to school so that they can play the basketball game. However the boy is extremely reluctant, and it takes a little combat training and toughening up to get the boy to face his fears and play alongside his former tormentors. We also get to see some cute flashbacks of young Yankumi learning to fight!

And there's about one leader from Bhutan, one Iran president, one Iraqi, one Indian, one person from United Arab Emirates, two Pakistanis, one Japanese, four Chinese and finally, two Koreans and one of those two is Rain / Bi. Asia is really making a change isn't it? If I were to be given $20,000 to change my citizenship into something not Asian, I wouldn't do it. ^ ^

Gokusen Episode 5

Yankumi has lost her cellphone, and guess who finds it! Reading the address on the phone, he finds himself at a very scary house full of Yakuza. Could Yankumi really live here? This new development gives Shin great insight into why Yankumi is so unusual. Elsewhere, the rest of the 3-D guys meet some cute girls at a restaurant, and Kuma becomes smitten with one of them. He ends with her handkerchief, and agonizes over how to return it. Meanwhile, the vice principal is all gung-ho about a new patrol he has started, and he has enlisted all the teachers to help him. Yankumi is stuck patrolling the popular night spots for teens (arcades, karaoke, etc) looking for Shirokin students. Things do not go well for Kuma and the girl he likes. Unfortunately, she has a boyfriend. And that boyfriend is the target of some attacks by some violent members of his own school. When the gang threatens the girl, her boyfriend takes off, leaving Kuma alone to defend her. However Kuma doesn't stand much of a chance against a huge crowd of students bearing steel pipes. Only one person can help him. Yankumi!

This episode is based on a story that appeared in the manga and then again later in the anime. The neighborhood surrounding Shirokin Gakuen is being plagued by a purse snatcher. Determined to capture him, wanted osters of the thief have been posted everywhere, and the person depicted on them looks surprisingly like Class 3-D's Uchiyama! Of course Yankumi is certain that Uchi is not the culprit, and in order to save him from being punished (as the school administration is so eager to do) she decides to join her students in trying to capture the real thief. Yankumi offers herself as bait, and even dresses up for the part. Can a bunch of high school students capture a criminal? Can anyone look more stupid in a blond wig than Yankumi? ^_^

Gokusen Episode 2

The theme of this episode is friendship.

Kumiko's life as a teacher continues. She tries, as usual, to meet the really cute police detective Shinohara, and ends up running to school. At school a surprise awaits her. Posted on the public bulliten board is a picture of Kumiko's head pasted onto a naked female body with large breasts. Kumiko is outraged at first, but then covers her anger with laughter, comparing herself to Fujiwara Norika (a popular model/acress with a good figure). On the poster Kumiko is referred to as "YanKumi". Intrigued about this nickname, her students tell her it's based on her name: YAmaguchi KUMIko. (the m is changed to an n). Yankumi loves her new nickname. It's much better than the one she had as a child....

The vice principal's car (a yellow VW bug) is vandalized, and once again, someone from class 3-D is a suspect. However the vice-principal isn't sure who it is, and the class is not telling. YanKumi admires this bond between her students. Their friendship is so great that they won't sell each other out. However these bonds of friendship are about to be strained. Minami, the class playboy, has a new girlfriend. However Sawada doesn't think Minami should be dating her, and warns him away. They end up fighting over it, but Minami decides to date the girl anyway.

Meanwhile, Yankumi's dreams of romance with Shinohara continue as she attends a 'Gokon' with her fellow female teachers. A 'Gokon' is sort of like a group blind date where one girl will gather some friends (often co-workers), and a guy will gather some friends, and they will all meet for dinner/drinks. The school nurse and Fujiyama-sensei both have their eyes on the handsome Shinohara too, so Yankumi has some serious competition.

Minami soon discovers why he shouldn't have dated the girl he was interested in, and he is forced to meet a group of guys after school to fight. Class 3-D seems willing to leave Minami to his fate, but a rousing speech about friendship helos them realize they shouldn't abandon a friend in need. And of course, a there is no meaning in being a teacher if she can't protect her students, so Yankumi is set to kick some butt too....

Gokusen Episode 1

Where it all begins! Idealistic new teacher Yamaguchi Kumiko has been hired by Shirokin Gakuen as a Math teacher. She and another new teacher, Fujiyama-sensei, are introduced to the other teachers. Much to Kumiko's dismay, she is assigned to class 3-D, which is the toughest class in the school.

Class 3-D is lead by SAWADA Shin, a silent guy who sits in the back of the class. He is very smart, and all his classmates listen to him. His best friend is a large kid named Kuma. Other classmates include the playboy Minami, sensitive Uchiyama, and fashion-conscious Noda. ^^

Class 3-D immediately tries to intimidate the geeky-looking Kumiko by ignoring her, throwing stuff at her, etc. But Kumiko takes it all in stride. After a rough first day of school, Kumiko goes home, and here we can see why Kumiko might just be the perfect teacher for class 3-D. Kumiko lives in a spacious traditional Japanese-style home. It turns out that her family is none other than the Kuroda group, a notoriously dangerous yakuza family. Kumiko's grandfather is its leader, and Kumiko is lined up to be the 4th generation leader after him.

Her unusual upbringing has given Kumiko a toughness that can easily stand such pathetic efforts of harassment that her students try. She is used to much worse. However, in order to remain a teacher at Shirokin Gakuen, Kumiko must conceal her Yakuza background and pretend to be a normal girl. This is not easy, as she has a habit of lapsing into rough Yakuza slang language when she gets excited.

Trouble starts right away when Kuma, a student known for getting into fights, is accused of stealing the bag containing the money for the school's class trips. It's a lot of money. Kuma denies stealing it, and Kumiko stands up to the other teachers in his defense. But Kuma seems to be hiding something, and won't tell Kumiko what it is. Did he really steal the money?

No "Seeking of Truth" at SM Cinemas

The upcoming movie based on the bestseller novel by Dan Brown, The Da Vinci Code will be showing some where in May or June. I'm not sure and I wouldn't want to know anyways.

The movie has been rated R18 and one note:
SM, the largest mall chain in the Philippines does not show R18 films. It would be a great boycott if you ask me. And it should be done. The Philippines has about 80 million people and almost 80% of those are Catholics. For a movie full of inaccurate details about history, religion, artifacts and other details targeting the Christian faith, it's just wrong to not do anything to ban this film. The government is doing the right thing atleast. The president is against this film too. And this time, she's right.

If you have read the book, Dan Brown welcomes you with a fact page that says, "all descriptions of documents, and secret rituals in this novel are accurate."

And the purpose of that page is to make you label the novel as something that is FACT.

Honestly, I also read the book and I thought that that FACT PAGE was really a FACT PAGE but I was wrong. It has been proven that it's a very inaccurate novel. The so called facts in the book angered a lot of historians and religious people alike. I've read and watched some documentaries about it and they researched and decoded the code.

I remember one thing in a documentary I've watched. In the novel, the lead character used Da Vinci's Painting, the Madonna of the Rocks as a shield so the guards won't shoot. But the real Madonna of the Rocks is very huge and it is stuck in the wall so there's no way anybody could lift that painting nor remove it from the wall.

And there's this other one, it says in the novel that Silas, the albino monk/killer lifted one of the huge candle holders in the Church of Saint-Sulpice to kill the nun who has witnessed what he was doing there. But in real life, those candle holders are way too heavy and huge that it will three persons to lift one candle holder.

As for me, the only reason why I want to watch the movie is because I want to see how they chose the actors for the characters cause I can't imagine how they really look. And just that. But there are more reasons for me not to watch it.

I suggest you read more of the documentaries and videos about the FALSE TRUTH in the novel. A priest said that people who don't have a solid foundation of faith should always be guided by those who have a matured faith. And you should know if you have a matured faith.

Faito, oh!

The story of a young, idealistic teacher who enters Shirokin Gakuen with hopes of making a difference in the students' lives. However, Yamaguchi Kumiko (Nakama Yukie) is in for a rude awakening when she finds that she will be the homeroom teacher of 3-D, the hardest class to maintain in the school. The students have multi-colored hair, sloppy uniforms, and show absolutely no respect to her. And you as a receiver of the message should pass it on to show your love to your mom.. again, i don't do this.. now don't think i don't care about my mom.. It's just not my style.. Why express your love to your mom through passing those messages when you could save the money on sending those messages to buy a rose for your mom? Your mom wouldn't benefit from you passing those text messages.. But she would definitely be touched if you do something that would make her happy.. (e.g. Cancelling your barkada trip and treat your mom to her favorite restaurant instead)

You don't even have to go through the hassle of spending.. my sister made my mom a card.. and that sure made her happy.. she was so touched that she said "Hay puwede na akong mamatay ngayon!" (I could die now).. but thats an expression of showing that she is filled.. filled with happiness..

Umm.. I didn't do that card and I didn't even know my sister made one.. I repeat I'm not an expressive person.. my mom thought i was manhid or numb.. but she just doesn't know that she's the best person in the world for me.. and my dad.. hehe ^ ^

Treat your mom.. ^ ^

SM Clark Opened May 12

It's the grand opening of SM Clark last May 12 and it was a bit dusty cause its newly opened and the construction memoirs are still present there.. Got to hear the voice of the Slapshock vocalist there and it was really loud and heavy.. They performed their newest hit from the album Silence, "Direction".. Orange and Lemons were there and they're a more favorite band than Slapshock.. The PBB effect maybe..

It wasn't really that crowded.. But I liked it maybe because of the fact that its clean and new.. The cinemas smelled like a brand new Ford Expedition.. Well, there will be a lot of celebrities and bands coming there and they're scheduled.. Example would be Starstruck 3's Marky Cielo and Jackie Rice, Yasmien Kurdi, Cueshe, Hale, Rocksteddy, etc..

SM Clark is big once you see it for the fact that its an open area.. There's more open space than the stores itself.. There's only two floors but I you can consider it big.. The second floor is small in terms of hectares.. You should imagine that if you were in the second floor, it's like a huge balcony and you can see all happenings.. well almost.. in the ground floor.. so the second floor is more of a balcony type rather than a full floor.. well if you get what i mean.. it's hard to explain..

Sy should be really wealthy by now.. (NOTE: Henry Sy is the first generation owner of the SM Malls).. but I'll still be waiting for SM Mall of Asia which I heard is the biggest mall in Asia..

I've passed by this post in a forum and they're discussing that they could see the whole world and they even saw their own homes.. at first i didn't want to believe but there's nothing wrong with trying.. I downloaded the program from earth.google.com and its called Google Earth.. and I was just amazed with what I saw..

Subliminal Meaning in "Narda"?

I just got this little news from my cousin who heard from her classmate that there's this small "glitch" in the song Narda by Kamikazee..

If you would hear the lyrics, "Sa likod ng mga tala, kahit sulyap lang Darna!"

At first glance, what? there's nothing wrong, the singer just wants to see darna behind the stars. I didn't know it at first until my cousin described to me the costume of Darna..

And take a look at where the stars are.. the more visible stars and not the one at the background..

And I'll just repeat the lyrics again.. "Sa likod ng mga tala, kahit sulyap lng Darna!"

I'll translate it in English if you don't mind.. "Behind the stars, even just a glance, Darna!"
